| Bio: | I'm currently an accountant for a small non-profit organization. I also volunteer with an animal rescue organization as a foster home, and I'm the expert (don't ask my why?) on socializing feral kittens. I have the scars to prove it! My whole life has been dedicated to animal rescue, well ever since I was five and brought home my first stray cat. I currently live a "hop, skip and a jump" from Death Valley and near The Alabama Hills where my beloved B-western cowboys used to roam. (I like petting Autry's rocks.) I'm also an active member of our local jeep club and I ardently fraternize with the club's prez (my hubby). We're proud parents of a gay son, who I'm happy to say refuses the walk the straight and narrow-minded. And we're proudly owned by six fuzzy boys and one fuzzy girl (cats).
I like to read (mysteries, westerns, short stories, cookbooks) and watch B-westerns. If it has cowboys or cops I'll read it, watch it and drool over it! I read mystery novels more for the entertainment value of the story, than the challenge of the mystery. I’m a little too dim-witted for the sharp-witted writing of some of these exceptional mystery writers. What I really get into is the characters. My favorite mystery characters are Donald and Timothy, Adrien and Jake, Chee and Leaphorn and Kimo Kanapa'aka.
